Sometimes you find yourself in a situation that feels so brainless, you have to pinch yourself because you can't even believe it's actually happening to you and there are actual people out there like this. When you get in a situation like this it usually involves some sort of Karen. These people are masters of entitlement and thrive on throwing tantrums, and, of course, their catchphrase is "I need to talk to the manager!"
A woman on Reddit recently had an encounter with a Karen while she was just trying to go about her own business. She was grocery shopping and not feeling her best. She was in sweats and struggling with a stomach bug. She was waiting at the deli counter when a woman also waiting pointed out how busy it was. She agreed and continued to mind her own business until this same woman told her she should go help them behind the counter. Confused, she looked at her and told her she doesn't work there.
This Karen blew her mind when she said that she knew she didn't work there, she's seen her waitress at the diner, but that "all food places are the same" so she should get behind the counter and start helping. Seriously, WAT?!
